Interview

1.  A short and crispy introduction about yourself. *

 

Amadou Jarou bah is a currently Switzerland based Gambian Spiritual artist Writer/ Poet/songwriter, Web designer, He is the author of the unpublished spiritual collection of poems (Signs tell Vol1) coming soon, the poet is an awakening spiritual philosophic poetic minded whom authored volumes of scripts of an enlightenment in poetry, his poems speak from a depth spiritual knowledge of self" his spiritual collection of poems, articles and essays reasons about our daily aspects in life. In one of his poem's in his book (Signs tell vol1 ) said the author:

"Living today life

Like tomorrow life

May never come

Is called an enlightenment- Signs Tell Vol1.

2. How did you feel when you received your selection mail? *

​

I felt more than elated spiritually and physically energised knowing that both of my works are selected for the PWO upcoming anthology (Defined dreams) it has always been in my vision defining my hidden dreams beneath my skin to reality, revealing hidden secrets of uncorded codes inner my dreams and visions that still remain on hold.

3. What is the first piece of work you wrote and when was it? *

​

A poem I titled (My letter to Africa) was my first piece I wrote in the early 2014 when I just began writing my first unpublished spiritual poetry book (signs tell vol1)

4. Where do you get your ideas or inspirations from for your poems or stories?*

​

My inspiration an ideas are depth spiritual knowledge of self affiliated with the divine creations and the creator of the creation "I am a DNA of an aboriginal ancestral linage. "I am a flesh that you can see With an invisible spirit that you cannot see Seeking acquiring an enquiring to know all that I need to know."

 

5. Do you prefer writing down or typing your works? And why? *

I prefer typing "for when I write that's when the inspiration reaches my mind I prefer typing for when I write that's when the meditation is calm in my mind I prefer typing for when I type that's when is calm in my mind. Although I love writing down on a paper" for I feel the depth and the heights of my spirit/energy in my handwriting than when I typed.

6. What or who has inspired you to write? *

​

My inspiration come from the creator and the creation I feel the forming energy of my inspiration from every direction that the wind blows, I literally turn my life my joy my sorrow my pain spiritually and literally into poetry.

7. Who is a poet/author according to you? *

​

A poet is whom is nearer to a vital truth than history A poet is whom reveals hidden secrets that still remain unrevealed An individual who can see with their third eye, meditate with their third mind and hear with their third ears. An author is an individual whom is not waiting to be told, they are bold to tell the hidden stories that still remains on hold.

8. Who is your favourite author and poet? *

​

Rumi, Rodney walter, Camara Laye, Mutabaruka, Chemamanda Ngozi,

9. Do you prefer EBooks or paperbacks? And why? *

​

I prefer paperbacks knowing that I can go for them in my shelf at anytime without a need of electrical charge, I can read them without hesitation/ fear of losing connection with device/an interruption popping up right on my screen while reading. "I just love it literally more natural."

10. What are the 3 books you would pick to have with you all the time and why? *

​

How Europe Under developed Africa, Americana, The roots.

11. According to you, how should a poem or story be?*

​

A poem/story should be an awakening enlightenment an elevating to the mind and soul. Both a poem and story should have the spirit an energy that connects you to the real side of this world, uncovering doubts and nourishment to our mind and soul.

12. What is your preferred genre? *

​

13. What are your other contributing works? *

​

Its the first time my works to be published in contribution of an anthology book, although I am member of a Poetry Academy Based in USA were I contributed submitting fewer of my pieces which is unpublished yet. Thank you.

14. In what position do you see yourself in writing field after 10 years? *

​

I have a vision that I will become a tree with deeper roots to the ground a high standing plant that will bear greener leaves, and making sweet healing fruits for the purpose of whole mankind.

​
